British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths. Schools, individuals and organisations across the whole of the UK take part in entertaining and engaging events with the aim of inspiring people of all ages.
The week kicked off with a bang this morning at Normanhurst with an assembly lead by the Senior Science Department. During the assembly children were taught how to make ice-cream within 10 minutes using just a few ingredients in a bag. It was yummy! The children also made ‘Elephant toothpaste’ with some surprising results!
We looks forward to seeing what the rest of the week brings.
