As part of the E17 Gymnastics Club, Ben (Year 7) attended the International Dance Federation (IDF) World Championships held in Italy at the end of May. As part of the England Dance Squad (ages 7 to 14), Ben participated in a number of routines, competing against many other countries. The Squad achieved 1st place, and were crowned IDF World Dance Champions, in the category of ‘Musical’ dance.
In addition to this fantastic achievement Ben was also awarded 7th place for small group routines, and as part of the E17 Gymnastics team routine achieved a 3rd place Bronze trophy in the Free Show Formation (youth) category.
