Year 8 see ‘Private Peaceful’ at the Ambassadors

On 7 November Year 8 and the GCSE Drama students visited the Ambassadors Theatre in London to see the National Youth Theatre’s production of ‘Private Peaceful’. Year 8 have been studying the novel this term in English and particularly  enjoyed watching it come to life. The cast were excellent and very versatile, taking of different parts such as Tommo, Charley and the evil Mr Munnings. The set was simple yet effective which gave the GCSE Drama students plenty to discuss. A fantastic trip for all!
