We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from our After School Club! Our talented pupils participated in the ‘Young Artists’ Competition, where they were tasked with designing their very own monsters. This creative challenge gave the students a chance to showcase their imagination and artistic skills, and they did not disappoint!
Over the summer holidays, we found out that three of our pupils were chosen to be published in the book, well done to Inayah (Year 3), Emran (Year 6) and Morven (Year 5). All of our pupil created marvellous monster and the competition encouraged pupils to think outside the box as they brought their original monsters to life.
A big thank you to Ms Georgie who organised the entries and a very special mention for Morven, who was chosen as the ‘Best Artist’ in the whole competition of schools across the country. Her entry was not only published but also chosen as the front cover of the book and she received a fantastic goody bag as a her prize.
The After School Club is proud of all our young artists for their hard work and enthusiasm. It was an exciting experience for everyone involved, and we are looking forward to more opportunities to showcase their talents in future competitions. A huge congratulations to everyone who took part!
